Mystical Twelve Steps

Socrates said, “Know thyself.”
I know no path more profound,
more precise,
more piercingly true
than the Twelve Steps.

They led me inward—
past shadows and silence—
into a deepening awareness,
a spirit awakened,
ever unfolding,
ever expanding…

until I touched something ancient,
something eternal—
my soul.

How to describe it?
It is an Eternal Drop
from the Ocean of Countless Names.
Love.
The Presence.
The Source.
The Creator.
The Sound behind all sound,
like a bell beyond hearing.
The Light behind all light,
brighter than ten thousand suns.
Whispers of the One I come from.

I sprang from that Ocean—
it is my very essence—
and with every breath,
I ache to return.

To dissolve.
To merge.
To become.

In this lifetime.
Drawn—like the moth—without fear,
to the Radiant Flame that calls it Home.

Not death,
but a deeper Life—
the Big Surrender,
where the sacred Music plays on,
and the inner Light never fades…

And then—just beyond that—
Love.
Breathtaking Love.
Beyond all comprehension.
Beyond all imagining.
